Mark Lambert’s 1970 Plymouth Cuda 440 V8 Restomod

Mark Lambert’s 1970 Plymouth Cuda has been rotisserie restored 6 years ago and transformed into immaculate restomod with a lot of time and over $120,000 invested in the build. The laser straight E-body impress with show quality Deep Blue metallic paint and perfect stance achieved with fully upgraded suspension and set of vintage style American Racing Torq Thrust rims polished to perfection.

The interior of Mark’s 1970 Plymouth Cuda restomod is also enhanced to offer the comfort of a modern muscle car. It has Viper seats with custom upholstery, new carpet and headliner, custom instrumental panel, steering wheel and center console, tilt steering, aftermarket AC and last but not least the iconic Pistol grip shifter we all love.

Mark’s 1970 Plymouth Cuda restomod was born with a 318 powerplant, but now packs a well massaged 440 cube engine dressed with Edelbrock Torker II manifold, Holley 850 double pumper carburetor, Roller rockers, hydraulic lifters and a moderate Lunati Voodoo cam. The high performance V8 motor produces around 500 horsepower through brand new Tremec 5-speed tranny.

Mark has only put about 200 miles on the restomodded 1970 Plymouth Cuda since he has added a complete drivetrain upgrade: McLeod hydraulic clutch, 4-piston Wilwood disc brakes on rear, 6-piston on front, custom made driveshaft, Ford 9-inch rear end with 373 gears, coil-over front suspension, Magnum Force tubular front end kit powder coated to match car, and rack and pinion power steering.

After owning this awesome 1970 Plymouth Cuda 440 for about 5 years Mark recently let her go, but he now drives a clean 1968 Dodge Charger pro touring car powered by Gen III 392 HEMI Crate V8 motor linked to a 5-speed Tremec. Of course, we are going to feature the ’68 Charger story very soon, so if you don’t want to miss it make sure you subscibe to our website newsletter or YouTube channel.
