Mario Sales’ Custom Built 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS

Owner of a Convertible 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass for years Mario Sales has always wanted a 1968 Chevy Camaro so he decided to sell the Olds in 2011 and started looking for his favorite bowtie. Mario looked around for a while until in 2013 he comes across this RS Camaro. Built from the ground up back in 2003 at the time Mario got it the muscle car needed a new interior and paint.

show your ride on hot american cars

Interesting fact about this custom built 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS is that it was previously owned by the famous hot rod designer Boyd Coddington’s wife and then by one of Boyd’s employees. As you can tell this is not a muscle car built for racing, Mario hasn’t been attending any shows either, he just enjoys driving it as the 1968 Camaro was his dream car since he was a kid.

The F-body looks pretty straight, the Inferno Orange paint combined with dual Black stripes looks really nice and although I’m not a fan of big wheels the Black 20-inch Giovanna’s somehow fit Mario’s 1968 Camaro RS build. The custom interior is done at the One Stop Automotive shop and the motor is a 327 Chevy Small Block attached to GM 350 transmission and posi rear end.
