With a little over 2,100 Chevrolet Chevelle muscle cars that came with the Daytona Yellow (Code 76) paint in 1969, this bowtie is already rare. But when you add the fact that this is 1 of the 400 Super Sport Chevelles’ powered by the high performance L78 396 Big Block V8 engine with L89 aluminum heads, you get one amazing piece of American automotive history.
The Daytona Yellow 1969 Chevy Chevelle SS factory interior is in great condition, it has its original 4-speed Muncie transmission and 4.10 geared posi traction rear end. It has been off the road for more than 40 years and shows only 38,000 original miles on the odometer. It is very well documented with the bill of sale and the Protect-O-Plate, which you’ll get to see.
