Tastefully Customized 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 327 V8

customized 1955 chevrolet bel air

Being one of the most iconic Chevrolet classics, the 1955 Bel Air doesn’t need any modifications to turn heads. In fact, it’s a big challenge to customize a Tri-Five Chevy and not ruined it. But if people were not modifying their cars, the hot rod scene won’t be alive, and I think even the purists will agree that this ’55 Chevy build is done right.

Beautiful custom Yellow and White base/clearcoat paint combined with a set of 15-inch Keystone Classic wheels, the 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air looks fabulous. The interior retains its factory style enhanced with custom upholstery matching the body colors, and steering wheel from Impala, (even the original Bel Air clock works.)

Now let’s talk about the powerplant that gets this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air moving. It sports a Crate 327 V8 engine dressed with aluminum Edelbrock intake and Holley four barrel carburetor, and married to a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. The upgraded dual exhaust has a very nice V8 sound without being too loud.
