It was 5 years ago when Brett Deutsch set a World Record by running the 1/4 mile in 8-seconds with his 1969 Chevy C10 at Byron Dragway during the Diesel Drags event. Back then The Mistress was an immaculate triple turbo duramax powered pick up truck, which sadly ended up on fire, and was almost fully destroyed.
However, the unfortunate event didn’t demotivate Brett Deutsch. He worked on his 1969 Chevy C10 for the last few years not only to bring it back to its show stopping look, but to set a New World Record. This time The Mistress has a single turbo and 4 stages of Nitrous set up producing way over 2,000hp and ran 7.28 at 175mph.
