The second generation Mustangs never had the success of their iconic predecessors, but during the last year of production Ford came up with a limited edition of the Mustang II called the King Cobra. Only 4,313 King Cobra Mustangs were produced and all came up wit the 302 cubic inch V8 engine to help the muscle car achieve image of a performer.
