Have you seen a 1971 Dodge Charger Daytona? Of course not, as such Mopar never came out of the production line back in the day. However, Gary Beineke (71WingCars) came across Chrysler’s engineers plans from 1970 for the upcoming year model race cars and based on these he created this unique 1971 Dodge Charger Daytona part of his G-Series Designs.
And this isn’t just some trailer queen that travels from show to show, this is a real deal NASCAR race car powered by 1,000hp all aluminum 588 cubic inch fuel injected HEMI engine, which Gary’s wife Pam has driven with 208 mph. My friend Lou has interviewed Gary and Pam Beineke at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals event, so check out the video to learn all about this remarkable Mopar!
