Formerly known as a Special Performance Package, the Z28 was introduced by Chevrolet with the first generation Camaro. Although it wasn't a big hit in 1967 when only 602 Z28 optioned Camaros were built, the number went to over 7,000 for 1968 and sky rocketed to 20,302 cars produced in the last year of the first generation Camaro. Chevy enthusiasts totally love the Trans Am road race inspired Z28 Camaros and the 3 letters live on thanks to the impact of these early muscle cars.
