Produced only in 1978-79 the Dodge Lil' Red Express trucks were a big hit with the public as they not only had a very appealing look, but were great performers as well. In fact, after testing the pick up back in 1978 Car and Driver magazine pronounced it the fastest 0 to 100 mph vehicle made in America for that year. Dodge produced 2,188 Lil' Red Express trucks in 1978 and seeing a nicely restored example like this one is a real treat.
The current owner and restorer Kyle Bingen bought the Dodge Lil' Red Express back in 1993 from a friend of his who was going to sell it to the salvage yard. The truck then sat for many years until the restoration was completed in 2018. Check out my friend Lou's video to learn the whole story as Kyle shares very interesting info on his gorgeous 1978 Dodge Lil' Red Express.
