I know Mopar purists won't get very excited about this custom 1965 Dodge Coronet at first, but believe that after you see the story and the car all the way around most of you will reconsider. When Charlie Johnson purchased this 2-door Hardtop Dodge Coronet 440 back in 1984, the car didn't have much original parts left, so performing OEM restoration wasn't an easy task.
This is the second time Charlie rebuilt his 1965 Dodge Coronet and although it is more of a restomod, the Mopar retains its classic style. The Copper paint, HEMI hood scoop, custom interior it all looks great, in fact I think those wheels fit the build as well. But, whether you like the restomod appearance or not, you're going to love the 496 Stroker motor under the hood.
