LO23 Dodge HEMI Dart in Action at Thunder Valley

The special edition Hurst 1968 Dodge Dart LO23 models fitted with the race spec 426 HEMI engine are probably the wildest factory hotrods to come out of Detroit. They built just 80 cars with no warranty disclaimer included and advertised them as factory ready class B super stock drag racers. Dodge engineers claimed the 1968 Dodge HEMI Dart LO23 would run the quarter mile in mid 10 to low 11 seconds but single digit ET's were reported back in the day and as you will see in the video this beast ran the 1320 in 9-seconds.
