Here is another cool drag racing video from last year's annual Mopar Nationals event. This time we have a beautiful 1964 Plymouth Belvedere powered by the 426 Max Wedge engine. The engine rated at over 400 horsepower was an option for the 1962-64 Dodge and Plymouth models, which many considered the first muscle cars.

Interesting fact is that the 1964 Plymouth Belvedere was also the first car Chrysler fitted with the 426 HEMI V8. Some of you probably remember that Richard Petty, Jimmy Pardue and Paul Goldsmith finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the 1964 Daytona 500 NASCAR race and all of them raced a HEMI powered '64 Belvedere.
