This 1962 Pontiac Catalina 421 V8 is a completely different powerplant compared to the engines you could get on any other Pontiac car. With over 12 to 1 compression ratio, aluminum dual quad intake, high flow heads, racing cam etc. the engine was underrated at 405hp controlled by a 4-speed and 4.33 geared rear end.
