As every die hard Mopar enthusiast, Steve Durbin, the owner of this Vitamin C Orange 1970 Plymouth Road Runner shares that he always wanted a HEMI car. He never got a chance to buy one that came with a Big Elephant from the factory as these are very expensive when in good condition, but found a way to achieve his goal.
He traded a 1970 Challenger for the 426 HEMI engine and a 1970 Cuda that needed a restoration, then bought this Plymouth Road Runner, which was originally a 383 car, but the previous owner threw a 440 in it. At first he swapped it with a 440-6 engine, drove it for a while and then decided to build the 426 HEMI Mopar he wanted.
