Here is a 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 - Iconic American muscle car featured in this episode of  "Muscle Car of the Week". Back in the 70's there were high performing Mustangs for every budget. There were base models, Mach 1, GT, Boss 302 and of course today's video hero the Boss 429. They only made about 500 of them in 1970 because this semi-hemispherical headed V8 designed engine purpose was to compete at the NASCAR speedways. That was the requirement back then: You had to have 500 street version of a particular engine to be sold legally on the street and then introduce it for a NASCAR competition.
