Wicked '55 Chevy Wagon by Classic Car Studio!
If you are into Tri-Five Chevy builds and hot rodding in general you are definitely going to admire the custom built 1955 Chevrolet Nomad Wagon called "Gone Mad 55" unveiled at the 2016 NSRA Street Rod Nationals car show in Louisville, Kentucky. The guys at the Classic Car Studio shop have spent about 18 months on this project, finished it just before the show and I am telling you they've totally nailed it.
The original 1955 Chevy Nomad look is well preserved, but they have done a radical color theme selection, which actually have turned out pretty awesome. Riding on a chassis from the Roadster shop specially built for it, mini tubbed at the back and sitting on Billet Specialties one off wheels the "Gone Mad 55" Chevy Wagon has a killer look.
The fully custom leather interior is just off the hook and it makes you feel like you are in a Cigar lounge. The paint scheme of this custom built '55 Chevy Wagon continues under the hood as well where all sheet metal panels are custom hand fabricated and the power comes from a super clean all aluminium 509 cubic inch Big Block V8 engine kicking in 650 horsepower on pump gas backed by a heavy duty trans by Bowler Performance.
