Built by Ronnie Sox this Pro Stock 1971 Dodge Demon ended up at Freeman Crowder's hands and was driven by John Livingston who won a numerous races and even beat Sox once at Lakeland, FL. Later on the same year Crowder sold the Tennessee Thunder Dodge Demon and the drag car never showed up at the race track again.
However Crowder's Grandson Lee dreamed about finding the Pro Stock 1971 Demon since he was 7 years old. Once he was old enough he contacted Larry Ferrell to help him find the Tennessee Thunder. They found the drag car in Florida and started the restoration.
Two years later the Pro Stock Dodge Demon is back on track with HEMI V8 motor stroked to 472 cubic inches, Indy heads and Weiend Tunnel Ram producing over 700 horsepower. This piece of drag racing history even has some original parts like the brakes, transmission and Dana 60.
See the Tennessee Thunder flexing muscle at Beech Bend and smack the like!
