With a sketch from July of 1962 Ford hit the biggest home run ever when they introduced the convertible 1965 Mustang. With over 22 000 pony cars sold the very first weekend after the introduction they had a significant impact on the American muscle car scene. The baby boomers were hungry for something fresh and exciting to hit the streets in and the slick Convertible 1965 Ford Mustang was exactly what they were looking for.

This well preserved example part of the Brothers Collection is not a GT model neither it sports the Hi-Po 289 V8 motor, but the Black body, White drop top and Red interior combined with the regular 289 backed by a 4-speed still makes it a very desirable muscle car even today.
