Equipped with all the bells, whistles, lights, sirens and fitted with 390 Big Block V8 engine the Fire Chief's 1966 Ford Country Wagon is a real treat for those who lived in the 60's. The car is loaded with air conditioning, power steering and power breaks, it has some really interesting features and cool license plate that reads "Fire is Out"
The Fire Chief's 1966 Ford Country Wagon is a member of the Volo Museum in Illinois and my friend Lou went over to interview Jay Grams (Co-owner), learn more details about this remarkable station wagon and go for a ride. With that Ford 390 Big Block under the hood, you can really get to the fire in a hurry and imagine how cool it would be to show up at a car show.
