Kenny Hubbard has been in possession of this 1974 Chevy Nova for many years. While he started drag racing it as a simple 8-point cage car, it has changed dramatically during the years and progressed into what you see. Painted by Mark McClaskey in a House of Kolor's Orange, the KENIHANA Chevy Nova catches the eyeballs as soon as it shows up at the track.
Known as a carb guy running a Nitrous set up, Kenny Hubbard decided to switch to a Procharged small block last year with the ambition to run 4.35 on the 1/8 mile. Not sure if he achieved the goal yet, but if not, he is very close as the 1974 Chevy Nova scored 4.40 at 164mph during a recent event at the South Georgia Motorsports Park.
