Inline-6 Powered Chevy 3100 Sleeper Pick Up Truck

I'm really happy that they started the Glory Days event at Byron Dragway. You can see some really cool rides rather than the usual suspects at the strip. Ron and Kim Plender's Chevy 3100 pick up is a perfect example. They bought it in 2003 and have been racing it for the last 11 years.

The 1950 Chevy truck has immaculate appearance and you would never guess that it has Inline-6 engine under the hood when you see it running 11 second 1/4 mile passes. In fact, the Chevy 3100 set the National ET/MPH record for C/Gas Inliner's in 2010 and its best pass to this day is 10.94 at 119mph.
