Consistent 9-sec All Motor 1974 Pontiac Firebird

We have seen Darby Otto and his 1974 Pontiac Firebird in the 2017 Hot Rod Drag Week, where despite the unfortunate accident on the way to Great Lakes Dragway, he managed to get there on time, compete and even got a 3rd place in the Street Race Big Block Naturally Aspirated class.

Couple of years later my man James Hrovat filmed Darby Otto cutting great lights and pulling consistent 9-second 1/4 mile passes at Byron Dragway. The 1974 Pontiac Firebird packs a 11.1 compression 505 cube IA2 block topped with 1050 Dominator and paired with TH400 with 5000 stall and Dana 60 with 3.73 gears.
