Several years ago we featured Mike Fitzgerald’s Plymouth HEMI Superbird which he owned since 1972 and had to save money for decades to finally get it restored, and now he has acquired this Petty Blue 1970 Superbird. It was an abandoned project car, stripped down to bare metal and stored in a barn for 13 years.
After Mark Sekula of Magnum Auto Restorations completed the Plymouth Superbird resto job in about 12 months, the Mopar won a Platinum award at Muscle Car & Corvette Nationals. The winged car looks brand new in and out and packs a 440 Six Barrel V8 engine with amazing V8 sound that you’ll get to hear at the end.
