The 1978-1979 Dodge Lil' Red Express models are favorite to many gearheads and with a little more than 7,000 trucks built in total, these are rare as well. The 1979 Dodge Lil' Red Express build sports a 408 Mopar Stroker enhanced with performance goodies like forged crank and pistons, Trick Flow heads, hydraulic flat tappet camshaft from Cam Motion, Edelbrock intake and Brawler 750 double pumper carb.
The 408 engine has been dynoed at 504 horsepower and 518 pounds of torque controlled by 727 trans with 3,000 stall converter, Trans-Go shift kit and 3.55 geared rear. Now that you know the specs, watch this cool Dodge Lil' Red Express doing a nice burnout.
