Designed by Larry Shinoda, the Mako Shark Corvette also known as XP-755 concept car debuted at the New York International Automobile Show in 1962. It was a huge success, and if you do some research you will notice that many of its styling cues are seen on the next generation Corvettes.

I am not quite sure whether we should call this Chevrolet Corvette a tribute or a modern interpretation of the Mako Shark II It's one of those custom builds that you just love or hate, but I believe hot rodders will appreciate the insane amount of modifications and overall appearance of this car.
