1970 Challenger a.k.a The L.A. Challenger.
In this Hot Cars we are going to take a closer look at Marv Eldridge's Mopar funny car - a remarkable piece of drag racing history.
This well known beast started its racing life as a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner and was re-built by Marv who attended the "Cavalcade of Stars" in 1970. During the years this American muscle was transformed into a Time Machine II, Trail Blazer and so on, until its current owner restored it and brought back to the "LA Challenger" shape.
All decals are painted and match the original ones. The 120-inch wheel base chassis was built in 1968 and is one of the very first ones created for a fiber glass body. The engine is a 5/8 HEMI Stroker built by Mike Kuhl.
