The Mighty Mopars at 2015 HEMI Challenge.

A special edition of Dodge Darts and Plymouth Barracudas were built back in 1968 to rule the drag strip and almost 50 years later those Mighty factory built drag race cars still show up at the Mopar HEMI Challenge to flex some muscle.

A special class was created for those beasts 15 years ago as part of the NHRA’s U.S. Nationals event and this year twenty two Dodge & Plymouth cars showed up to compete for $15, 000, one of a kind HEMI jacket and the special trophy - a 426 HEMI engine cylinder head.
