True Super Sport '64 Chevy Malibu!
The Chevrolet Malibu Super Sport was one of the most stylish vehicles when it released in 1964 and it enjoys the attention of muscle car enthusiasts. The exterior of the Chevy Malibu Super Sport is kept as close to possible to the original model. The entire chassis and body is treated with a rust preventive coating after which a powder coat of gloss black was applied. The final coat of paint is a deep Pacific Blue which goes perfectly over the gloss black. Chrome bumpers and accents complete the exterior appeal of the nicely restored 1964 Malibu SS.
This restored 1964 Malibu SS comes with 440 cubic inch small block V8 engine manufactured by Chevrolet. The rest of the drive-train includes 700R4 automatic transmission, 4-barrel Holley 670 carburetor, intake from Edelbrock, and a Posi-Trac rear differential from Eaton.
All the power from the drive-train of this Chevrolet Malibu SS is complemented with great handling capabilities. It features dual piston calipers, 4 wheel GMPP, cross drilled rotors, Nitto 215 and 225/45ZR performance tires and suspension and lowering system from Hotchkins. All these equipment are engineered to work in harmony to provide a safe and comfortable drive.
The interior is crafted in accordance with the classic black theme. Everything from the seats to the dashboard and door panels are in black. To provide sound isolation, the side panels, roof, and floor are insulated with Dynamat. New gauges are added to the original tachometer behind the mahogany steering wheel to complete the look.
