The muscle car wars reached its peak in 1970 just before emissions regulations and fuel changes spoiled the fun in the following years. Chevrolet played a major role in the game with variety of Big Block V8 engines. The 1970 Chevy Chevelle featured in this video is a beautifully restored true SS car powered by 396 V8 engine mated to a 4-speed manual tranny. While it's not a L78, but a L34 Big Block, it still offers plenty of power and torque and it's a blast to drive.
