In 1966 Mopar finally joined the Fastback party, and the first generation Dodge Charger was a big success. While you could get it with a Big Elephant under the hood, the 1966 Dodge Charger wasn't meant to compete with the fastest muscle cars of its time. But on the inside it was like no other car produced by the Big 3. The full length center console and four bucket seats really helped the Mopar to stand out. Here is a beautiful example of a 1966 Dodge Charger sporting a 440 Big Block, which I'm sure you'll enjoy as we don't get to see these often on the road.
