Fabulous 1961 Chevy Impala SS 409 Bubble Top

It is unknown whether this is one of the 142 Super Sport Impalas that came with the mighty 409 V8 mill from the factory in 1961. However, one of the previous owners spent over $30,000 to make sure she is as close to original as possible. That was done more than 10 years ago, but the Bubble Top Chevy Impala still looks fabulous all the way around and runs as good.

Bright Red body with Red interior, great looking chrome and glass, and a set of American Racing rims she is a real beauty. Original or recreation, the 409 engine under the hood of the 1961 Chevy Impala SS combined with a Super T-10 4-speed tranny is a lot of fun.
