The Legendary Factory Lightweight Mopars from the 60's

Having their cars win on the strip and being featured in popular magazines was the most effective marketing strategy for the Big 3 during the horsepower wars in the 1960's. I'm sure many of you remember the "Win on Sunday – Sell on Monday" saying.

Lightweighting was the name of the game in the 1960's and the Super Stock Mopars made history. Cars equipped with Wedge and then the 426 HEMI engines from the factory were produced in limited quantities, and are very rare today as most didn't survive.
