While this is not the original "Bob Ford" Fairlane Thunderbolt 427 FE, it is an outstanding tribute built with the help of the late Len Richter, who drove the original car to the 1964 AHRA championship.

The 1964 Ford Thunderbolt was built in 2002 by Ed Mach of Dearborn, MI who was a good friend of Len Richter. Then the car spent several years in a private collection where sadly it was not well taken care of.
The gentleman who filmed the video invested 4 years of his life to get the 427 FE powered Ford Fairlane in great shape again. He had some fun with the car and sold it to another enthusiast in the Carolinas couple of years ago.
