Bill Moore's 9-Second 1969 Mercury Cougar Race Car

I have been discussing the 1969 Mercury Cougar story with Bill Moore's son for a while. We could not get as much race track footage as I wanted, but I decided to do a short introduction story, and look forward to show you more of this Wild Cat in near future. See the quick video I put together.

Kevin Moore shared with me that his Father bought the 1969 Mercury Cougar back in 1979 to drive back and forth to college. Few years later the Cat was already on the track full time, and still lives 1/4 mile at a time. Today you can often see Bill and Kevin Moore racing the 430 Small Block Ford powered '69 Cougar at Cecil County Dragway and Maple Grove Raceway.
