Chevrolet created a stripped down L72 427 powered 1969 Chevelle with the intention to dominate the Super Stock drag racing class. The COPO cars were badass already, but Don Yenko decided to take these to another level.

He brought 99 Chevelles fitted with the 427 engine to his legendary Chevrolet dealership in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, and transformed these into Yenko Super Cars. The 1969 Yenko Chevelle we have here is an interesting example as it has a bucket seat interior, 4-speed Muncie and is painted in Garnet Red.
